Congratulations to the 2011
Grant Award Recipients !

Congratulations to Dr. Mirna Lechpammer at Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School for receiving the 2011 Baby Alex Foundation grant in the amount of $30,000. Read the below abstract of Dr. Lechpammer's work, "Prognostic Role of the FMRP/mTOR Signaling Pathways in the Pathogenesis of Encephalopathy of Prematurity and its Neurocognitive Sequelae."



Congratulations to Dr. Ann-Christine Duhaime, who in 2011, transferred her project, "Development of A Porcine Model Using Advanced MRI to Study Severe Brain Damage Following Subdural Hematoma in Infancy," to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Congratulations also to Dr. Tomo Tarui who will be receiving a $15,000 grant to continue his project, "Evolution of Cerebral Development in Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome," for a second year at Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School.
